Newborns
Document all of those tiny details, because they’re not kidding when they tell you “don’t blink”! I take a more casual approach to baby photos that take pace in your home, meaning baby sets the base for the entire session. We don’t rush, and we don’t force any unnatural poses. Instead, we document your newest addition and incorporate the rest of the family in a way that feels natural and organic.
I provide everything you need for your newborn session, including a variety of wraps, hats and headbands, and simple props. Mom and siblings are also invited to borrow from my client closet to create a completely cohesive style for the session, and alleviate stress and worry to have to buy another thing after baby is born. And don’t worry, most of my dresses are postpartum and breastfeeding-friendly!
Here’s how it works:
Complete the inquiry form to be contact me! Make sure to include your due date on your form.
I will respond directly via e-mail and confirm my availability, as well as discuss your vision and any unique details about your family. Since the session date is sort of “ up in the air”, we use your due date in the contract. Once baby is born, reach out to me and we will set an official date and time for your newborn session.
A $200 retainer and signed contract is required to book.
Once booked, I will work with you directly to provide styling guidance to make sure your family is picture ready! If interested, I can recommend select pieces from my client closet to wear.
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled during morning time (start around 9/10AM) and can last upwards of 3 hours. I will stay as long as necessary to get all those precious shots. Some babies are good sleepers and we are able to get everything done quickly. But other times we need a bit more time for extra feedings and cuddles with mom between photo ops, and that is totally okay!
All packages are priced for families of up to 7 people. Additional people, or multi-generational groups, will incur an additional fee of $50/person. Weekend dates (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are an additional $150, and holidays are an additional $250.
Packages are for high-resolution digitals only. Print products, such as custom framed photographs, canvases, and heirloom quality albums can be purchased at an additional cost after gallery delivery.
