Congrats, grad!

Blair is now a recent high school graduate — and her family chose the most breathtaking location to commemorate this monuments occasion in her life: Powel Crosley Estate. We had the best time exploring the grounds of the historic estate, and were able to take photos outside and inside the Mediteranian-style mansion.

I kept telling Blair, you’re like a real-life Disney princess right now! Her sweet disposition and natural beauty, combined with unique and delicate posing (made easy thanks to her decade + of dance experience!) helped us capture some of my most favorite photos I’ve ever taken.

This arched doorway offered the perfect metaphor as Blair closes one chapter of her life, and steps through to the next.

The historic Powel Crosley Estate was built in 1929, and was the summer home for Powel Crosley and his wife, Gwendolyn. It sits on the Sarasota Bay, adjacent to the John Ringling Estate. This venue offers a unique look into the past, but the beauty of the architecture is truly timeless. From banyan trees to blooming bougainvillea, and meticulously tiled stairways and breaking balcony views, this location is truly unique and makes for a perfect backdrop for your photos.

Blair’s parents both attended her session, and they beamed with pride watching their daughter shine. I absolutely love when parents are nearby for their child’s senior session, because they get to sit back and honor the time, dedication, and love they’ve poured into them over their formative years.

It was such a delight to capture Blair’s beauty and help preserve this special time for her and her family at the breathtaking Powel Crosley Estate. I have no doubt that Blair will continue to WOW the world with her bright smile, positive energy, and desire to learn and grow as she heads off to college. I’m rooting for you!
