This sweet couple said their vows and committed their lives to one another under the beautiful outdoor gazebo at the Manatee County Courthouse in Bradenton, Florida. While many people hear the word “courthouse” and automatically picture a judge with a gavel, this gazebo offered the perfect shaded ceremony for the bride and groom and added a touch of romance and tradition to their special day.

While many young couples may get caught up in the glamor of a large wedding, these two opted to focus on each other with an intimate courthouse ceremony on a very special date.

After they said their vows and were officially married in the eye of the state, we had a bit of extra time to capture some bridal, couple, and family portraits. The courtyard and surrounding areas of the courthouse offered us prime spots for a variety of beautiful backdrops. But the real beauty was their love, which took center-stage with every click of my camera.

This was such a special and love-filled afternoon. There is nothing quite as promising and hopeful as young love, and it was an honor to witness it in action. Thank you for trusting me with capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments!
